Dietary Management of Disease
Management of many diseases can be optimized with nutritional therapy specific to the disease being treated. In human medicine we certainly recognize that patients with heart disease benefit by restricting salt, people with food allergies must watch their diet, and most of us have been on a calorie restricted diet at one time or another. Similarly there are a variety of diets available to treat diseases that plague our pets.
We carry most of the line of Hill's Prescription Diets with food formulated for animals with diseases of the heart, liver, kidney, intestine, and bladder. In addition we carry their products for food allergies, tumors, diabetes, poor appetite, weight management, tartar control, and old dog confusion.
Also routinely stocked are Royal Canin and Iam's foods for allergies, as well as the feline diabetes diet by Purina.
